I want to say something about the incident in Marsiglia, in my opinion,it was an error(mistake) that the ship hit something and made the hole, but this doesn't give the right to the people to became animals. Why this gentleman and wemen don't say how all the persons on the ship were sleeping except the italians, they were awake at 2:30 in the morning yelling in the reception lobby.
some were saying that : why we do not leave the port sooner because they paid for Barcelona
others were saying : we want to stay here because we are afraid to leave the port in this conditions
All this persons wanted to jump on the office from the Reception to hit the poor receptionists ,Why? Because this employees were not able to answer at the question "When the ship will leave the port" , unfortunately this informations were not in "the hands" of the Reception, and did not depend on them.
After, the italians passengers called the italian police to come in their battle with the Reception, to help the italians, unfortunately for them, the police came quickly and helped the crew members working at the Reception and NOT the violent italian passengers!
The passengers wanted to enter in the back-offices of the ship, why they don't say that they wanted to hit the Hotel Director?
One of this italian passengers it was a lawyer, and he take signatures from all of them to sue Costa , because in their opinion, they were hurt during the incident. How is possible??? nobody on the ship felt it, everyone saw it during the day when they came back from outside.
I , personally, heard them talking , saying that they will go to doctors(their friends) to take medical documents to certificate the fact that they were hurt, in order to take money from the company.
Because of the little accident, the company gave 150 euro for cabin, free shuttle bus in Barcelona and more.
Its true that was a unfortunate incident for all, this incidents happens all over the world, in traffic with the car, in air, on the water , even in our houses... but this does not let us as people to became animals!
I was also on Concordia when the tragedy happened, also on Pacifica with this little incident. We are human, it is normal to make mistakes, but the attitude of one of us is not normal unfortunatly! Not the Captain repaired the ship, probably every company in the world has contracts with some others companies in order to solve this kind of situations. The ship was repaired soon as possible, they all made all their best to make the situation easier possible, but when shit happens, this is not a reason to take advantage in my opinion and make a real "war" and to try to take money for something that did not affect anyone so much.
